This just in:
"The former Designing Women star, Delta Burke, has checked herself into a psychiatric hospital. Delta is suffering from symptoms of depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and 'hoarding.'"
Holy pajamas; this is a treatable illness?!?!? Well then, I think we all need to start addressing our problem with paper 'hoarding.' You first ...
FYI, I'll have a super-cute '15 Minute' Valentine's Day tea tin project for you tomorrow.

aside from the paper, ribbon , ink, stamp compulsions. I have had obsessive/compulsive all my life but nothing like what Delta may be going thru. I check all the locks and windows in the house before I go to bed and then get up and do it an hour later. I grew up with a mom who forgot to lock doors or turn off burners on the stove so it started when i was small (and we lived in a horrible area ). I survive and we all will too as long as it doesnt consume us. I am betting Delta has money issues related to this. A lot of compulsive people do and cant afford it.
Your blog is great, thanks for stopping by mine, love your cards. We will have to meet up sometime. I will be back to see more of your wonderful creations. And oh my yes I am a "hoarder" but working on it in 2008
A really interesting and engrossing piece of nonfiction is
"Ghosty Men: The Strange but True Story of the Collyer Brothers and My Uncle Arthur, New York's Greatest Hoarders," by Franz Lidz. It reads like a novel, and I loved it.
