15 Minute Project ... and a Blog Challenge Entry

Today's card project was created for Allison's "Suggestive Sunday" blog challenge. Allison challenged us, (you too, Cowgirl!), to create a project that is all about us girls ... old girls, young girls, or baby girls.

This 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" side-folded card was created on Bazzill Basics card stock with designer papers from Cosmo Cricket's "Hey, Sugar" collection. And yes, the debossed main mat is yet another of my many mistakes ... obviously, I don't learn from 'em!

I stamped my Elzybells image on Xerox 110# card stock with Palette Hybrid ink and colored her in with Copic markers. I added the tiny sentiment, double matted the image on die-cut scallop mats, and mounted everything on dimensionals.

I punched out two photo corners and set three brads and washers in each, then secured them to my card. Normally, I would put the washers on the back of my project, but today I wanted to use them on the front.

For some sparkle, I added just a teeny-tiny bit of glittery Stickles to the birthday girl's hair, bow, and her shoes.

And then, my timer went off and I had to stop ... otherwise, I probably would've continued embellishing. Timing your projects really helps me you to know "when to say when."

Thanks for dropping by and sharing part of your busy day with me!

~Hugs, Deb
