15 Minute Project ... Pretties in Less Than 1/4 of an Hour

Today's 15 Minute Project was created in a hurry! With about 20 minutes before my mailperson was due, I suddenly realized that I had forgotten to make a card for one of my dearest friends. And it absolutely, positively HAD to go out today. So, when I tell you this was made fast, faster, fastest, I'm not kiddin'!

This 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" side-folded card was created using Bazzill Basics textured card stock, Xerox 110# white card stock, DCWV card stock, a scrap of ribbon, and a rubber stamped image.

I stamped my image on Xerox card stock using Palette Hybrid ink, and colored over the lines using Copic (Y06, BG49) markers. I cut the image using a Large Nestabilities Classic Rectangle die and my 'Bug.'

Using the matching die from the Large Scallop Rectangle set, I cut a mat for my stamped image using DCWV card stock. I used double-sided adhesive to hold my ribbon in place and adhered the matted image using dimensionals.

For a little sparkle and glitz, I used two curved rows of faux rhinestones to decorate the cake.

Ingredients:

  • Textured Card Stock: Bazzill Basics; DCWV
  • White Card Stock: Xerox 110#
  • Stamp: Victorine Originals
  • Ink: Palette Hybrid 'Noir' (Stewart Superior)
  • Color Medium: Copic Markers
  • Ribbon: Dashes, Dots, and Checks (Michaels)
  • Adhesive: Double-sided (Therm O Web); Dimensionals (Fiskars); Tape Runner (Tombow Mono)
  • Accessories: Faux Rhinestones (A-Muse)
  • Tools: Cuttlebug Die Cut Machine (Provo Craft); Nestabilities (Spellbinders); Scor-It Board (Hammond)

Thanks so much for sharing part of your weekend with me!

~Hugs, Deb
