Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!
If you're like me, you have tons of ribbons and a real problem storing them. Well, I've solved my ribbon storage problem, and hopefully yours as well!
This:
While searching for an inexpensive ribbon storage solution, I discovered the "Ribbon Ring" web site and was floored by this concept! I contacted the owner, Melissa Bickle, who generously offered to send me a sample kit to give away to one of my wonderful blog visitors.
To win this kewl ribbon storage system, simple leave a comment on this post and I'll have a random drawing for the winner. If you don't have a blogger.com account, please be sure to leave your email address in your comment so that I have a way of contacting you if you win.
Here's a look at a typical stamping/crafting work area with the Ribbon Ring system in use:
This space-saving system is ideal for me; the starter kit comes with one large metal hinge ring, thirty ribbon tags, and fifteen inventory dots ... all for only $10.00! You can also purchase additional ribbon tags in bundles of 30, 60, or 90. It doesn't get any better than this!
If you'd like to win this uber-kewl ribbon storage system, simply leave a comment on this post; random.org will decide the winning post on Monday, April 14. One request: please number your post.
If you can't wait, you can order your own system from ribbonring.com ... shipping is lightening-fast; I had my new ribbon storage system in a matter of days!!
Thanks for spending part of your busy day with me!

This looks like this ribbon storage idea is about the best thing since sliced bread!
I am a fabric artist and use single ribbons and yarns. What a cool way to see lengths and colors at a glance!
I would love to win one of these systems..and will be handing the Random.org sight on to my arty friends!

Can I have the sample kit please? Alright, I will stand in line to see if you randomizer will pick me.
I am dying for one of these. I just moved near the Offray ribbon outlet and I have 100 rolls of ribbon that need to be organized. I need an extreme ribbon makeover!
Kewl is right love these things! I will jump at the chance for one of these. Thanks for stopping by my blog Deb yours is great!
Woo hoo...way to rock the candy Deb!
#7 - These look so cool. I'd love to get my hands on one of them! Thanks for the opportunity!
#8-Hubby would rejoice if I put my ribbons away long enough for the cats to figure out they are not chew thingies.
#9 - I thought I found the perfect ribbon storage - I found some very large glass pickle jars, and I put all my ribbon in there in different color families. This is better though and more organized!
# 10 It seems to be a very good system and all the colors next to each other also look very nice. Thanks for a chance to win!
Greetings from Belgium, Annelies
I have seen this on a few other websites. I don't have a problem with rolls of ribbon. They are in a gutter hanging on the wall. It's the odd pieces that I have a problem with. Thanks for sharing. This would have my smaller pieces in eyesight so I would use it.

I love this! I store my rolls of ribbon in SU ribbon holders but my loose ribbon is everywhere! And I have alot from ribbon swaps and such.
I think I'm Lucky #13 on the Blog Comments.
This is a great idea. Right now my ribbons are a total mess in storage bag. It's definately time to get them more organized!!

14? Quick, B4 my ribbon takes over my house. I would love this candy. Thanks!
#15 WOW! I totally need one (or 2 or 3) of these. Thanks for sharing!
This is just way cool! I definitely need to get some of these! Another cute idea that I seen...A friend of mine recently moved into a new house and the previous tenant left behind the kitchen curtains. They were just too cute and I ooohed and ahhhed over them. They were made from all different kinds of ribbons looped over the curtain rod with a few embellishments and buttons attached here and there. Really cute! This ribbon storage system would look too cute stored on a curtain rod for your craft room.
Organization in any form is always a plus right!?! I need all the help I can get...esp w/ the mounds of ribbon i've been accumulating w/ no way to store them!!!! Thanks for sharing!!

Hi Deb - what a fun way to organize all of your ribbons - they're so tidy, but they look great as well. Love your blog too - have just recently found it, and it's very inspirational.

#27 or #28 Looks like the one above me posted twice. I love the idea of these things! Ribbon is probably my favorite embellishment!
#29.....That ribbon thing looks way cool! Thanks for the chance!
Hey Deb,
What a cool ideal! I brought a couple of ribbon storage cases from Michael's but it only handles the small spools of ribbon. My ribbons that are on a large spool are kept in a drawer and the odds and ends in a zip-loc bag. These ribbon rings are perfect for my odds and ends and the ribbons that I buy from the internet. Thank you for sharing Deb and have a wondrful day.
What a fabulous idea! Love it!!
#32 - What a great way to organize all my ribbons! :)

I'll join everyone else with a big WOW! What a great idea. Thanks for finding it and sharing it with us -- now we all can be more organized.
That's COOL!! You mean, I could actually get rid of the table-top drawer thingie that I use for all my "small" bits of ribbon?!?! 'Cause that would be FABULOUS. You're such a genius finding these cool things.
PS - I have a blog award for you - check my blog for details.
I would love to try this out! my ribbons and yarns are a big mess...I need organization!

#39 Oh my goodness! This looks like exactly what I've been looking for to solve my ribbon chaos. Of course, I'll have to find a way to store them high enough that my cat doesn't have a hey day with all my pretty ribbons! ;)

That is a really cool ribbon holder, I've tried so many different ways to organize my ribbon. I could add that to my "tree" that my grandfather made me. It's out of wooden dowels and works great for ribbon on spools, but all of my ribbon is not on spools. Have a great day!!
