Today's "15 Minute Project" was created for Sharon's "Pierce It!" blog challenge ... and for my birthday card stash; I've got tons of birthday's coming up in the next few weeks!
The cupcake image was die-cut using scraps of card stock, triple matted on larger scraps. The white textured background was created using a Fiskars Texture plate in the Cuttlebug.*
I pierced holes around the perimeter of the card and cross-stitched with pink floss in each corner.
Finally, I stamped my sentiment on a scrap and cut it out with a Word Window punch. I added some bling to the cupcake and mounted it on my card using dimensionals.
Easy-peasy and ready to serve in just 15 Minutes!
Ingredients: Textured Card Stock, (DCWV and Cut Card Stock); Kraft Card Stock, (Bazzill); Stamp, (Verve Visual); Ink, Palette Hybrid (Stewart Superior); Faux Gemstones, (Unknown); Embroidery Floss, (DMC); Tools: Paper Piercing Tool, (Making Memories); Die, (Sizzix); Die-Cut Machine (Provo Craft); Word Window Punch, Punch Mat, and Ticket Corner Punch, (Stampin' Up!); "Fabric" Texture Plate, (Fiskars)
Thanks so much for spending part of your busy day with me!
