Call Me ... It's the Best Way to Find Out if I Still Have a Phone!

Hi boys and girls!

Today's card project was made using a humongous background stamp from Stampin' Up, and a vintage photograph of my sister-in-law. Won't she laugh and be soooo excited when she sees this?!? Ummm, prolly not so much. Especially since I didn't even mentioned it to her ... And I cut it up to fit my frame-thingie! So I decided to keep this info on the down-low ... it'll be our l'il secret, okeedokee?

Anyway, nothing too exotic about this card; you can see the supply list, below, for more info on the card.

One fun thing to note: the rotary dial on the telephone charm really turns!

Gotta fly; hurricane watchin' is a full-time job!

Love how you used the vintage photo, although your poor sister is probably not liking that you're calling her vintage, LOL!

Stay safe in all the hurricanes!

Glad to hear you're back! I've been wondering what's happening. Been watching the weather channel and it doesn't look very good. Hope everything's ok!

Aw Deb, thank you so much for taking the time to make all those fab comments on my blog articles. I must say I woke up to find them this morning and you made me laugh so hard!! What a great way to wake up. As for GB weather, its dismal, rain, rain, rain oh and more rain and no sign of it changing. What I would give to be in sunny climates right now. Luckily I work from home so don't have to venture out.

Deb, I really love this one! And the charm is from my MIL's 80th bday celebration. She's ALWAYS on the phone - so we had a very formal event with 150 people . . . and a huge telephone cake. And I made commemorative bookmarks for all her lady friends, using those phone charms. And of course, one had to be reserved for this awesomely creative friend of mine . . . :-)
